Frolicking feathered friends.
Full of personality, bizarre behavior and eggs. Our Feathered Friends are to be admired for being exactly who they are, regardless of what anyone else thinks! We have a group of 10 Cotton's (that's the breed) hens living on our farm. They, mostly look alike and go by the collective name of "the Golden Girls." There are 3 exceptions. One little white hen who is still young and learning the "do's and don't of chicken life." Her name is Lacy. Our two roosters who are father and son. A strapping gold and white rooster named Rupert, who is regal and wise, and his goof-off (teenage) son who we call Ronan, he is a rust red and as he matures and becomes the same wise leader to his flock of girls, we have high hope he will follow in his father footsteps.
I hope you enjoy the tales of our feathered friends.
